What Can You Do To Improve Bathroom Storage Space?

Most people have experienced the nightmare that is bathroom storage. Trying to find the perfect place for everything can be difficult and frustrating. So what can you do? Here are some tips on how to organize your space better and get more storage out of it.

1. Remove Anything You Don't Use

The first thing you need to do is look around your bathroom and see if there are any things in there that you don't use. If something hasn't been touched for over a year, chances are it will never get used, and you're better off not having it.

Remember, this is not something you should do once and forget. Once every couple of months, run through your bathroom and check out everything that is in there. If you can see a layer of dust on something or it hasn't been touched since you last cleaned up, get rid of it.

2. Install Bathroom Cabinets

You're probably not surprised to hear that bathroom cabinets can be extremely helpful for bathroom storage. They are great because you can get them in just about any size and style.

If your bathroom is on the smaller side, you could try installing a multipurpose bathroom cabinet on the wall. If your bathroom is a bit bigger, you could install multiple bathroom cabinets or even a standing cabinet.

3. Add Towel Racks

Towel racks are another great way to get more storage in your bathroom. They are super easy to install, and they can hold many towels. If your bathroom is small, you might want to just put one towel rack on the wall opposite the sink.

4. Add Hooks

Hooks are probably one of the cheapest and most versatile things you can buy for your bathroom storage. They're perfect for hanging towels, robes, and clothes while you shower or get ready.

5. Get a Bathroom Vanity With Sink

Bathroom vanities are great because they can store a lot more than just your bathroom essentials! You could have medicines, hair products, makeup, or anything you want to be stored safely. They attach right to the wall and can be installed alongside your sink.

Industry estimates show that only 50.2% of bathrooms are medium in size, and even less are large. That means most homeowners will have a problem with the storage space in their bathrooms. But by adding a bathroom cabinet or by adopting any of the other ideas mentioned above, you can solve this problem.
